Manchester United have revealed their all-new home kit for the 2024/25 season.

Next season will be the first in United's sponsorship deal with Snapdragon, taking the place of TeamViewer on the front of the Red Devils' shirts.

Key to the new shirt is a reflective technology which is designed to make the shirts look different from various angles - an idea first flirted with by the famous Busby Babes in the 1950s as they sought a way to make the shirts stand out in the glare of the floodlights.

It is made up of a number of shades of red which blend together seamlessly to help create a 'glow effect' in the right lighting.

One of those shades - a 'bright, flame-like red' - is used on a United shirt for the first time ever as a side panel to help the shirts stand out against the backdrop of the crowd.

Sam Handy, SVP of product and design at adidas, said: "The colour red is consistently fundamental to the club's DNA. There have been many different expressions of it over the years and, for 24/25, we wanted to do something a bit different.

"We've drawn inspiration from shirts that Manchester United experimented with from 1952-57 as floodlights were introduced to stadiums. These were fantastic early examples of creative design in matchwear and were worn by some of the club's most legendary players.

"The colour-shifting appearance of these was a big influence in this season's modern expression of the home kit, designed to capture attention from all angles on pitch."

Both the on-field and fan versions of the shirt are currently available for purchase. The on-field version is priced at £110, with the standard version available for £80.
