Manchester United are still open to the idea of selling Jadon Sancho this summer despite his positive talks with manager Erik ten Hag, a report has revealed.

It emerged earlier this week that Sancho and Ten Hag had agreed to move on from the public feud which dominated last season and ended with the winger joining Borussia Dortmund on loan in the January transfer window.

Sancho is now back in training with the United senior side but, according to The Guardian, his future at Old Trafford is still far from certain.

Sancho remains among a group of players for whom offers could be entertained, with United looking to raise money for what appears set to be an expensive shopping spree.

Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee has agreed to join from Bologna for around £35m and reports suggest that fee represents the entirety of the club's transfer budget, with new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe challenging the club to raise close to £100m through sales to continue signing new players.

Sancho had been expected to be a leading candidate for sale and, while he is no longer being pushed out the door, it is said that United would still listen to offers for the 24-year-old.

Dortmund have publicly admitted their desire to sign Sancho permanently but could not afford a deal even before his talks with Ten Hag, which may have further increased his value to the Red Devils.

Most of the recent rumours have revolved around Juventus but the Serie A side may also struggle with the financial side of a deal which United no longer feel pressured into making.

United still hope to raise money in their pursuit of at least two new centre-backs. Bayern Munich's Matthijs de Ligt is keen to make the move to Old Trafford while a bid has been accepted for Lille's Leny Yoro, who is also of interest to Real Madrid.

Two bids have been knocked back for Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite and the Toffees' negotiation stance was strengthened on Saturday with the news that midfielder Amadou Onana is closing in on a £50m move to Aston Villa. United's latest bid for Branthwaite was worth the same amount.
