Spain defender Marc Cucurella has revealed he plans to make England winger Bukayo Saka 'feel uncomfortable' during the Euro 2024 final.

La Roja and the Three Lions will meet at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Sunday evening to determine who will be crowned the new kings of Europe.

One of many fascinating duels to keep an eye on will be down England's right flank, where Saka will look to get the better of Cucurella, who has arguably been the best left-back at this summer's tournament.

The two know each other well at club level, with Chelsea's Cucurella enjoying some of his best games up against Arsenal's Saka.

Speaking to The Athletic on the eve of the final, Cucurella admitted he will not need to extensively study Saka's game in order to make his life difficult on Sunday.

"I know how Saka plays," Cucurella said. "I don't really need to watch a lot of footage as I normally watch all the Arsenal games. It is so tough to mark him, but those challenges are nice for me. Playing against rivals of such quality is nice, I'm sure we both can’t wait for it.

"My main target is to make him feel uncomfortable. I also think that the game's script will depend a lot on Spain and how we play, rather than what England do. If we dominate the ball as we've done and stay aware of the high pressure and everything we need to do to avoid counter-attacks, we’ll have plenty of chances to win."

Saka is expected to start at right wing-back following England's switch to a 3-4-2-1 formation earlier in the knockout stage. He has upped his game since Gareth Southgate made that tactical tweak, scoring the crucial equaliser against Switzerland in the quarter-finals and playing well in their semi-final victory against the Netherlands.
