Anticipation is building as the women’s football group stage for the 2024 Paris Olympics is set to kick-off on 25 July.

There are 12 countries in the tournament battling it out for a gold medal, with current defending champions Canada hungry for a back-to-back victory.

Where can you watch it?

Coverage on BBC One will begin daily at 8am and run until 22:00, showing different events. Coverage will switch to BBC Two when the news is on BBC One and there will be a nightly highlights show at 22:40.

BBC iPlayer Olympics Extra will show a scheduled live stream of events running from 8:00 until approximately 23:00.

However, viewers wanting to watch specific events will have to sign up for Discovery+ for a paid fee, which will show 3,800 hours of live coverage via a network of 55+ live channel feeds.

Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 will also broadcast live coverage from 7:00 to 22:30 daily, with highlights and replays through the night.
