Dias made a bigger impact than even the most optimistic City fans could have hoped for and has already walked away with the 2021 FWA Footballer of the Year award.

Bruno Fernandes

18 goals in his first full Premier League season tells its own story for Fernandes. He was the main reason that Manchester United improved from third to second.

Jack Grealish

Grealish missed nearly three months of the season because of an injury. But when he was fit the Aston Villa talisman was in unbelievable form and took Liverpool to pieces in that 7-2 thrashing.

Harry Kane

Kane put his injury troubles behind him in 2020/21 and scored 23 goals, going over 20 for the first time since 2017/18, to land a third Premier League Golden Boot award.

Mason Mount

Still 22, Mount took another big step forward in his career and emerged as Chelsea’s most important player. He even finally shook off longstanding criticism of being Frank Lampard’s pet.

Mohamed Salah

Salah, who previously won this award in 2017/18, effectively carried Liverpool in an attacking sense this season. His 22 goals were crucial in securing a top four finish in the final week.

Tomas Soucek

West Ham secured Soucek on a permanent deal last summer and he proved to be worth every penny of the £19m transfer fee, playing a huge role as the Hammers got back into Europe.
