Braga secured third, with Champions League debutants Union Berlin falling to a miserable fourth.

Who has reached the 2023/24 Champions League last 16 from Group C?
Real Madrid - Group C winners
Qualification turned out to be incredibly straightforward for Real Madrid, despite being drawn in the same group as the Serie A champions.
An often Jude Bellingham-inspired Madrid won all six of their group stage games, seldom getting out of second gear.

- Kobenhavn (Group A)
- PSV Eindhoven (Group B)
- Inter (Group D)
- Lazio (Group E)
- Paris Saint-Germain (Group F)
- RB Leipzig (Group G)
- Porto (Group H)
Napoli - Group C runners-up
Bar two defeats to Madrid, Napoli also enjoyed an easy passage to the knockout rounds, accumulating three wins and a draw from their six games.
Finishing in second spot, the Italian champions beat Braga in their final group stage match to ensure their place in the last 16.
Potential last 16 opponents
- Bayern Munich (Group A)
- Arsenal (Group B)
- Real Sociedad (Group D)
- Atletico Madrid (Group E)
- Borussia Dortmund (Group F)

Braga - Europa League knockout round play-off
While they did their best to compete with second-placed Napoli, Braga ultimately fell short in their attempts to qualify for the Champions League knockouts for the first time.
Instead, the Portuguese side will have to settle for a place in the Europa League after finishing third, a competition they reached the final of back in 2010/11.
Union Berlin - Out of Europe
Union Berlin matched their dismal start to the Bundesliga season with a similarly woeful debut Champions League campaign.
Fan favourite manager Urs Fischer even lost his job due to a terrible run of results in the capital, with the German side only managing two draws from their six group stage games.
