Several of Ligue 1's iconic soccer stadiums will be on display throughout the 2024 Paris Olympic Games this summer.

In roughly a week's time, the summer of soccer will continue after the conclusion of Copa America and the Euros with the Paris Olympics in France. Both men's and women's teams from across the world will compete for Gold at some of the most famous stadiums in all of world soccer that has been home some of the game's greatest-ever players.

Here are the seven venues for soccer at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.


1. Matmut Atlantique (Bordeaux Stadium)

The Matmut Atlantique is home to second division side Bordeaux that unfortunately haven't seen the first division of French soccer since their relegation at the end of the 2021/22 season.

However, this 42,115 capacity ground will play host to the likes of Japan vs Paraguay on the men's side and Brazil vs Spain on the women's side. The Matmut Atlantique will also be the site of one of the men's quarter-final matches.

2. Saint-Etienne Stadium (Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium)

On July 24, Argentina will take on Morocco at the Saint-Etienne Stadium to help kick things off on the men's group stage at the 41,965 capacity ground.

The following day will see Canada take on New Zealand at the same stadium and the home of newly-promoted Ligue 1 outfit AS Saint-Etienne will not be the site of any matches outside of the group stage for both the men's and women's tournaments.

3. La Beaujoire Stadium

On the men's side of the Olympics, Egypt take on Dominican Republic at La Beaujoire Stadium on July 24 while Spain clash against Japan in the women's group stage. La Beaujoire Stadium is home to Nantes in France and seats approximately 35,322 spectators.

4. Groupama Stadium (Lyon Stadium)

Home to one of the most iconic teams in European soccer, Groupama Stadium plays host to Ligue 1 side Lyon as well as a few matches at the summer Olympics.

Fans will have the chance to pack in the 59,186 capacity stadium to see France square off against Colombia on the women's side. The Groupama Stadium is also the site of semi-final matches for both the men's and women's tournaments.

5. Stade Velodrome (Marseille Stadium)

Continuing with the theme of iconic stadium in Ligue 1, the Stade Velodrome is no exception as the 67,000 seater is regularly packed to see Marseile in Ligue 1.

This time around through, the host nation on the men's side of the group stage will clash against the USA to warp things up on the first matchday at the Olympics. The Stade Velodrome is also home to one semi-final match for both the men's and women's tournaments.

6. Allianz Riviera (Nice Stadium)

The Allianz Riviera will see Colombia take on Canada on the women's group stage while France square off against Guinea on the men's side. The home of OGC Nice will also play host to Morocco vs Iraq but won't be the site of any quarter or or semi-final matches.

7. Parc des Princes

The men's portion of the 2024 Summer Olympics kicks-off on July 24 at the Parc des Princes, home of European giants PSG. As Mbappe, Messi and Neymar Jr. all roamed the pitch at this ground before, Uzbekistan and Spain will get things going in roughly a week's time while the men's Gold Medal match will also take place at the same stadium on August 9 and women's Gold Medal match on August 10.
