The USMNT's roster for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games includes a wealth of young talent that can help the Stars and Stripes claim their first ever men's soccer medal.

For the first time in 16 years, the U.S. Men's National Team will compete at the Olympics. The Stars and Stripes were sorted into Group A, along with France, New Zealand, and the Guinea Olympic Team, and kick off their first match of the tournament against Les Bleus on July 24.

Marko Mitrovic selected a squad of U-23 stars, as well as three veterans that will bring leadership and experience to his side. Although some of the most well-known American soccer players will not travel to Paris, including Christian Pulisic, there are still plenty of players to watch this summer as the USMNT continue their quest for an Olympic medal.

Duncan McGuire might only have one senior USMNT cap to his name, but the striker has proven that he could be a great goalscorer for the Stars and Stripes. In just his first two MLS seasons, the 23-year-old has already bagged 23 goals in 59 appearances for Orlando City, including eight this year.

The 6-foot-1 goalscorer is also the tallest of the forwards on the squad, making him a particular threat on set pieces. Plus, he is one of the oldest players on the team, and therefore brings experience and confidence in front of goal.

2. Tanner Tessmann

Tanner Tessmann is heading to the French capital in the best form of his career. The midfielder, along with fellow club and USMNT teammate, Gianluca Busio, helped earn Venezia's promotion to Serie A this past season, and has all the tools necessary to facilitate and finish goalscoring opportunities at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The 22-year-old recorded seven goals and three assists for his club in the 2023/24 season. He played over 3,000 minutes in Serie B, almost always tidy and accurate in possession. Tessmann and Busio's prowess in the midfield will help the USMNT control the tempo of matches and create dangerous chances in the final third.

3. Miles Robinson

Miles Robinson is one of the three allotted players selected by Marko Mitrovic above the age of 23. The veteran defender was also on the USMNT's Copa America 2024 squad, but did not play a single minute of the tournament.

Robinson will get his chance to shine, though, in Paris. The 27-year-old helped take FC Cincinnati to the top of the Eastern Conference so far in the 2024 MLS season, and now, will play a critical role at the back for the Stars and Stripes. He is also one of the only players on the roster to score multiple goals for the senior national team.

Robinson's veteran leadership will be a welcomed addition to the otherwise young, inexperienced squad.
