How Much Jack Grealish Could Earn if He Joins Manchester United

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Manchester United have been linked with a move for Aston Villa ace Jack Grealish. Reason being, he's been in outstanding form this term. United want him, and they're willing to pay big to lure him to Old Trafford.

Dean Smith's side find themselves in the precarious predicament of scrapping for their Premier League lives but also facing the prospect of lifting a domestic trophy - their first one since 1996.

They'd be nowhere near Wembley if it wasn't for Grealish's intervention, and a return to the Championship would likely already be confirmed had the English playmaker not had a significant say in the matter.

Due to that, ​The Sun are claiming ​United chiefs are hell-bent on securing the 24-year-old Grealish's talent at whatever cost, with a £150k-per-week salary being touted should they lure him to Old Trafford for a fee of 'up to' £60m.

Back in September, Grealish penned fresh terms at ​Villa with a five-year-deal scooping him weekly wages of £50k, meaning a move to United could triple his salary. An interest was shown in the midfielder in January, but United opted to pursue a deal for Bruno Fernandes as it was deemed more viable at the time.

The report adds that Grealish has some reservations about a move to the Red Devils regarding regular playing time, but with the current standard of United's squad, such fears should really be discounted. What is mentioned - and highly likely - is that Grealish's potential switch to United would signal the end of ​Paul Pogba's second stint at the club.

90min has however been told via a source recently that Grealish's most likely destination is United, despite interest from elsewhere.

Real Madrid, former club Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have all been linked with the Frenchman, as the Red Devils still harbour ambitions they can land around £150m for their crocked star. Very ambitious.

This season has been a breakthrough one for Grealish, who's seven goals and six ​Premier League assists have resulted in valid calls for him to play a part in England's upcoming Euro 2020 squad. 

On such form he seems like a shoo-in for Gareth Southgate's side, so it's little wonder that the club are willing to fork out the fees necessary to ensure he heads into the tournament as a Manchester United player.
