Hakim Ziyech Wants Chelsea to Bring Ajax Teammate André Onana With Him to London

Chelsea signing Hakim Ziyech is hoping to tempt his new employers into bringing Ajax teammate André Onana with him to Stamford Bridge.
Ziyech signed for Chelsea two weeks after the January transfer window closed, with the Blues parting with £37m to secure his signature.
The winger will see out the remainder of the season in Holland and move to the Bridge in the summer.
According to the Daily Mail, he wants goalkeeper Onana to follow him to west London. The pair are close friends, with Onana keen on a move to the Premier League.
The Cameroon international has his eye on a switch to Tottenham or Chelsea, as he favours a move to the capital.
Frank Lampard's newest asset Ziyech wants to persuade Chelsea to bring the highly-rated Onana to the blue half of London.
The Blues are understood to be in the hunt for a goalkeeper with Kepa Arrizabalaga producing a number of patchy performances this season.
The 25-year-old sat out of the side for six games, with Willy Cabellero taking his place. Kepa returned to the side for Chelsea's FA Cup victory over Liverpool, turning in an impressive display. However, his Stamford Bridge future is still uncertain.
Onana came through the academy at Barcelona, before joining Ajax in 2015. Alongside many of Ajax's young starlets, he caught the eye during the club's run to the 2018/19 Champions League semi-finals.
The 23-year-old has continued that fine form this season, keeping 15 clean sheets in all competitions.
Chelsea face competition in the race to sign Onana, with Tottenham and his former side Barcelona both interested. Any potential suitors would likely have to stump up between £40-50m to secure his services.
Spurs are looking for a long-term replacement for club captain Hugo Lloris, who struggled during their recent Champions League defeat to RB Leipzig. At 23, Onana would certainly fit the bill in the long-term.
