It feels like this summer could see one massive spin of the managerial merry-go-round in the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp's departure from Liverpool will open up one of the biggest jobs on the planet, while the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Newcastle and West Ham have all been tipped to switch things up in the dugout. Fortunately, there is no shortage of potential options.
Here are seven managers we at 90min would love to see in England next season.
Ruben Amorim
The Premier League's elite have all been keeping a close eye on Ruben Amorim's success with Sporting CP for years now, but for whatever reason, nobody has pulled the trigger on a move for the 39-year-old.
Playing a fascinating, tactically astute brand of football, Amorim has consistently maximised the value of his players, most recently turning Viktor Gyokeres into a striker capable of putting up silly numbers in front of goal.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with Amorim, whose move to the big-time feels like it's coming very soon.
Arne Slot
At 42 years old, Arne Slot is still in the infancy of a manager career which only started back in 2019, but there's already a lot to like about the Feyenoord boss.
Taking inspiration from Pep Guardiola - both his tactics and his haircut - Slot has introduced a thoroughly entertaining brand of football to Rotterdam, turning his side into a real monster as they won the 2022/23 title.
There were links to Tottenham last summer but, after Feyenoord took a small step backwards this season, there should be plenty of other English sides who could convince Slot to make the move.
Jose Mourinho
Look, Jose Mourinho may not be the most popular manager around, but the former Chelsea, Man Utd and Spurs boss is cinema in its purest, most chaotic form.
Currently a free agent since his departure from Roma, Mourinho would be a simple hire for any club ready to take a major risk. His ability to guarantee trophies has faded in recent years but Mourinho is still a solid manager whose presence in the Premier League would only help English football.
Just where he could actually go, however, is a different matter. Round three at Chelsea, anyone?
Gian Piero Gasperini
Few managers have influenced Italian football quite like Gian Piero Gasperini. His name may not come with the same star power in England, although Atalanta's heroics against Liverpool have deservedly shunted the 66-year-old into the international spotlight.
Often working with a shoestring budget, Gasperini's Atalanta have routinely overachieved, with players all reaching new heights during their time with the veteran boss.
Whether it's one of the Premier League's elite or a side trying to make some noise at the top of the table, Gasperini should appeal to every team in England.
Hansi Flick
The desire to see Hansi Flick stems from curiosity. His 18 months in charge of Bayern Munich were littered with trophies and major success, but Flick's switch to the German national team ultimately ended in humiliation.
So, which is it then? Is Flick a world-beater? A piggybacker on Robert Lewandowski's coat tails? Or is there somewhere in between that we haven't yet seen from him?
Barcelona are among the sides interested in Flick, who will undoubtedly be considered by any team looking for a new manager this summer.
Zinedine Zidane
It has been three whole years since Zinedine Zidane last took a seat in a dugout. That's a lot of time to get fluent in English.
His two spells with Real Madrid were sensational but Zidane has happily sat around at home waiting for the right opportunity. If he has a job in mind, it might be time to accept that it isn't coming. Man Utd have been tipped to offer him a route over the Channel.
Zidane is one of the biggest names in world football but never graced the Premier League as a player. It's time to do something about that.
Julian Nagelsmann
It was only four years ago that Julian Nagelsmann was the guy. He was young, fizzed around on a skateboard, rolled up his trouser legs and wore some flashy shoes on matchday. Everyone wanted him at their club.
Bayern Munich won the race for his signature but made the stunning decision that a run of 60 wins in 84 games warranted a contract termination in March 2023. The fact he was given the boot has harmed Nagelsmann's reputation but it's not as if things actually went wrong for him at Bayern - just look at the direction the club has gone in since he left.
Nagelsmann's contract with Germany is up in the summer. If he wants a change of scenery, there should be no shortage of suitors in the Premier League.
