Life's a Pitch is 90min's brand new women's football podcast in which Republic of Ireland internationals Ruesha Littlejohn and Lucy Quinn give an insight into life as professional professional footballers.

On a bi-weekly basis, Littlejohn and Quinn will sit down in the 90min studios to discuss their lives as professional footballers - in conversation and through vlogs filmed throughout their weeks at games and training sessions - as well as all the headline news from the women's game. Each episode will be available on YouTube and podcast platforms, with special guests lined up for the series.

Littlejohn is a 33-year-old midfielder with over 200 league appearances to her name across spells at Celtic, West Ham United, Aston Villa among others. She also has an impressive 75 Republic of Ireland caps to her name, and was a regular starter for her nation during their first ever Women's World Cup campaign in 2023. Littlejohn currently turns out for the London City Lionesses, signing a contract at the Championship outfit in the summer.

30-year-old Quinn is also an Irish international, having been capped 18 times for her nation - scoring three goals in those games. She too represented the Girls in Green at the Women's World Cup in the summer, and is currently plying her trade at Championship outfit Birmingham City, having re-signed with them after a two year spell at Tottenham Hotspur.

In episode one, the pair sat down to discuss their experiences at the World Cup, their first few months at their new clubs, as well as how the first became friends.

Littlejohn and Quinn also dished out their first 'Red Card of the Week' to something seen/heard in the game over the last week.

You can watch episode one here. The audio version is also available on Apple and Spotify podcasts.
