La Liga relegations 2022/23
- Confirmed: Elche, Espanyol

Serie A relegations 2022/23
- Confirmed: Sampdoria, Cremonese
Italy settled on their champions pretty early but a historic side was also ditched sooner than expected. Sampdoria suffered their first relegation in 12 years and there is a very real chance that worse is to come for the club.
They have a parasitic owner who remains a majority shareholder and the club is expected to be declared bankrupt this summer. Further relegations, be it on the pitch or in the courts, are very possible.
They will be joined in Serie B by Cremonese and one of Spezia or Hellas Verona, the latter of whom currently occupy 18th due to their inferior head-to-head record.
Position | Team | Games Played | Points |
---|---|---|---|
17 | Spezia | 37 | 31 |
18 | Hellas Verona | 37 | 31 |
19 | Cremonese | 37 | 24 |
20 | Sampodoria | 37 | 19 |
Bundesliga champions 2022/23
There was a thrilling title race to enjoy over the course of the Bundesliga season, the likes of which the league has not seen for many years. It went down to the final day, with Borussia Dortmund leading Bayern Munich by two points.
Dortmund could only salvage a last-gasp draw at home to Mainz while Bayern won at Koln thanks to Jamal Musiala's dramatic strike, meaning the reigning champions retained their title on goal difference.

---|---|---|---|
1 | Bayern Munich | 34 | 71 |
2 | Borussia Dortmund | 34 | 71 |
