Atletico Madrid and France national team figure Antoine Griezmann once again expressed his desire to play in Major Leauge Soccer while on international duty.

The 32-year-old seems to have his heart set on playing in the United States once his La Liga days are over, and this isn't the first time he's made this kind of statement.

Back in August, Griezmann had the following to say about potentially playing in the league: "My target is to end up there [in MLS], with everything that I like about American sports, playing in MLS and enjoying myself, being able to win things and be at my best level," he said in an interview.

Not much has swayed his thinking since then, as he relayed the same sentiment in the France national team camp.

"Saudi Arabia? I understand those who have to go there; we’re talking about incredible sums of money," said Griezmann. "Could I go? I have a family, three children. It’s not an easy decision to make. The MLS is still my priority"

Griezmann doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon with Atletico as he's already off the mark in the 2023/24 season with one goal through the first three games. If any MLS side is looking for a versatile playmaker and goal threat, they'll have to pay a decent transfer fee as Griezmann's contract doesn't run out until after the 2025/26 season.
