Arsenal make the trip north to face Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.

The Gunners are winless in their last five visits to the blue half of Stanley Park. To capture the duration of this hoodoo, Wayne Rooney scored for Everton during Arsenal's most recent victory at Goodison Park (October 2017).

However, in the grand scheme of things, the rivalry between Arsenal and Everton is painfully one-sided. No team in the history of English league football can match Arsenal's century of wins against Everton (D43 L61).

Here's the XI Mikel Arteta may deploy on Sunday to earn victory number 101.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale - If and when David Raya gets his chance to patrol the posts for Arsenal in the Premier League is as yet unclear.

RB: Ben White - One of three players in line for a new contract, White could be the latest young talent to commit his future to Arsenal.

CB: William Saliba - Despite playing for back-to-back World Cup finalists France, Saliba returns to Arsenal after recording his fourth loss in ten international caps.

CB: Gabriel - Buoyed by the first senior caps of his international career, Brazil's latest centre-back is expected to retain his place at club level.

LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko - Much was made of Harry Maguire's hug with Marc Guehi instead of marking a Ukrainian player, but Zinchenko ghosted past his clubmate Declan Rice to put his nation 1-0 ahead against England last weekend.

CM: Martin Odegaard - At his presentation for Real Madrid, wearing a stripy top he'd hurriedly pulled off his bedroom floor before catching a flight to Spain, Odegaard remembered that he looked "like a random school kid they just pulled from the stadium tour".

CM: Declan Rice - After a growth spurt as a teenager, Rice admits that he lost some of the coordination and control which defines his game today. "Suddenly I wasn't moving in the right way," he recalled. "I was like Bambi on ice."

CM: Kai Havertz - Last season, Havertz was caught offside more than any other player. This term, he has only prompted the assistant's flag twice.

RW: Bukayo Saka - Arsenal's star boy has been struggling with a sore Achilles tendon since at least last June but nothing has been able to sideline Saka over the past two years.

ST: Gabriel Jesus - Averaging a goal every 71 minutes, Jesus has scored eight times in nine top-flight appearances against Everton.

LW: Gabriel Martinelli - The Brazilian and Saka have taken a combined 352 touches in the attacking third this season. Nottingham Forest, as an entire team, have only registered 361.
