A proud and resilient Arsenal ensured they maintained their unbeaten start to the Premier League season on Saturday, but Mikel Arteta will be hoping to oversee a rapid improvement in Seville on Tuesday night.

The Gunners fought back to draw 2-2 with Chelsea at the weekend, and the games are now arriving thick and fast for the title hopefuls before the November international break.

A trip to Sevilla is next on their agenda as they go in search of Champions League points. After being beaten by Lens in Group B on Matchday 2, Arsenal can ill afford to succumb overseas again in what's poised to be a very tight group.

Here's how Arteta could set his side up against Sevilla on Tuesday night.

GK: David Raya - Raya came under heavy scrutiny for his performance at Stamford Bridge, and the Spaniard is yet to represent an obvious upgrade over Aaron Ramsdale, However, Arteta is likely to stick with the summer arrival on Tuesday.

RB: Ben White - The consistent right-back is set to celebrate a contract extension soon, and the Silver Fox will continue in the team in midweek.

CB: William Saliba - Saliba was an injury doubt ahead of the Chelsea bout with a toe injury, but the defender played the entirety. The elegant Frenchman is a shoo-in.

CB: Gabriel - The Brazilian will once again partner Saliba. Gabriel has been a mainstay since he returned to the fold following his rather peculiar absence at the start of the season.

LB: Takehiro Tomiyasu - Arteta could make a change here with Oleksandr Zinchenko dropping to the bench. Tomiyasu has impressed in pretty much every substitute cameo so far this season and deserves more starts.

DM: Thomas Partey - The midfielder was an unused substitute at the weekend with Arteta carefully managing the vulnerable Ghanaian. However, given Arsenal's midfield struggles at Chelsea, the Spaniard may bring Partey back in on Tuesday.

CM: Declan Rice - Rice's pinpoint effort got Arsenal back into the game on Saturday, and it's hard to imagine an Arsenal side without the Englishman at the moment.

CM: Martin Odegaard - The skipper was heavily criticised for his anonymous showing at the weekend, and Arteta certainly should consider rotating him out of the side now and again. However, Odegaard will undoubtedly get his manager's backing here.

RW: Bukayo Saka - Saka was left frustrated by Marc Cucurella last time out, but it was his killer cross which led to Leandro Trossard's equaliser.

ST: Gabriel Jesus - Jesus didn't get into the game at all on Saturday as Arsenal's front line failed to fire. But, Arteta is more likely to shuffle his pack at the weekend when Sheffield United visit the Emirates.

LW: Gabriel Martinelli - Trossard is vying for a start following his work in west London, but the Belgian has often proved an effective performer off the bench so far in his Arsenal career. Thus, Martinelli should continue in the side.
