Arsenal will look to round off an ultimately successful Premier League season when they host Wolves on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners' title charge came to an end last weekend as defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday night made it three losses in their last five games before Manchester City lifted the trophy the next day.

However, a return to the Champions League has been secured after finishing fifth last season, with stars like Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale signing new deals.

Wolves will play in the top flight again next season after Julen Lopetegui led them up the table, having been bottom at Christmas. There is, however, uncertainty around the Spaniard's role at Molineux.

Here's the latest on this final day meeting.

Arsenal team news

Mikel Arteta deployed a back four of Thomas Partey, Ben White, Gabriel and Jakub Kiwior in the defeat at Forest but a return to a more familiar lineup is needed after a horribly clunky performance.

Arteta's options at the back have been reduced in recent months by injuries to William Saliba, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oleksandr Zinchenko, while Gabriel Martinelli's season has also come to an end.

Wolves have no fresh injury concerns but it could be the last time a number of players wear their gold strip ahead of the summer transfer window.

Ruben Neves is expected to court interest during the off-season while Adama Traore is likely to finally get his move away. Both could be given starts on the final day.

Sasa Kalajdzic was ruled out for the season shortly after his move with a cruciate ligament injury but will be able to sample more Premier League football when the competition resumes later this year.

Arsenal vs Wolves score prediction

Arsenal couldn't provide a grandstand finish in the title race and are now seven points behind City having played a game more. Consecutive defeats to Brighton and Forest killed their hopes but the chance to end the season on a high at the Emirates should be motivation enough for the Gunners.

Wolves' form post World Cup has seen the Wanderers edge their way to safety, though attention will soon switch to what is expected to be a busy summer at Molineux.

If Arsenal were to pick up three points, it would be their best tally in a Premier League season since 2007/08, when they managed 83 and came third. With the pressure off, the Gunners should put recent issues to one side to comfortably beat an already safe Wolves.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-1 Wolves
