Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of Italy international Nicolo Zanilo on a season-long loan deal from Galatasaray.
Villa have been active during the summer transfer window, bolstering Unai Emery's squad with the additions of Youri Tielemans, Pau Torres and Moussa Diaby, and Zanilo has now followed them through the door at Villa Park.
Galatasaray confirmed that Villa have paid an initial fee of £4.2m and agreed to a bonus of up to £1.2m to seal the loan.
Should Villa choose to trigger their purchase option, they will have to pay £19.2m plus a further £13.2m in add-ons.
90min understands there is also a clause in the loan agreement which would trigger a mandatory purchase.

A move to Villa Park sees Zaniolo land in the Premier League eight months after initially expected, with Bournemouth close to landing the Italian's signature in January.
With that move ultimately collapsing, Zaniolo left boyhood club Roma to join Galatasaray, inking a deal until the summer of 2027, but the 24-year-old has now departed.
Zaniolo played 12 times during his spell in Turkey, racking up five goals and one assist.
He joins a Villa side desperate for a boost after their shock 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Newcastle United on the opening day of the Premier League season.
