Aurelien Tchouameni appeared to confirm Kylian Mbappe's expected move to Real Madrid with an optimistic prediction about the Frenchman's future.
Mbappe has privately confirmed his intention to leave Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires this summer and is widely expected to join Real Madrid. Reports of a contract agreement with the Spanish side are common but there has yet to be any official confirmation of either a move to Madrid or even Mbappe's departure from PSG.
Last month, PSG head coach Luis Enrique dropped the first hint by admitting the club had to get used to playing without Mbappe "sooner or later", while France Under-21 manager Thierry Henry, who wants to take Mbappe to this summer's Olympics, recently claimed: "We know he's going to leave".
To further fuel excitement about Mbappe's potential move to Madrid, Tchouameni offered an exciting prediction for the 25-year-old which seemingly confirms his upcoming switch to Spain.
"The Spanish are aware of the player that Kylian is, although when they see him every day they will realise the player's greatness," Tchouameni told Telefoot.
Mbappe recently confirmed he will publicly confirm his future before the start of Euro 2024, and he later reiterated the fact that he is not worried about what the future holds.
"People will know [my situation]," he told Telefoot. "I'll arrive at the Euros with peace of mind.
"I'm already calm. It’s not even a topic at [PSG] any more, no one talks to me about it. There are no worries there. I'll go to the Euros with peace of mind and with the certainty of doing great things."
