Barcelona make huge announcement regarding streaming service
- Barcelona will soon launch Barca One, a unique streaming service
- Platform will include highlights and unique video content
- Fans will have the option for both free and paid subscriptions

Barcelona have unveiled an all-new streaming service to offer fans an extra insight into life at the club.
Expanding on their pre-existing Barca TV, the club will soon release Barca One - a worldwide streaming service that will feature match highlights, live broadcasts, original content, press conferences and more.
The service will be available for free and without subscription, but will revolve around advertisements which will provide the club with extra income.
Fans will, however, have the option to pay for a premium subscription which will remove those adverts.
The first piece of content on the service will be Origins | Araujo, a documentary about centre-back Ronald Araujo's rise to prominence which features exclusive interviews and footage of the defender's upbringing in Uruguay.
Barcelona's financial struggles have been well-documented in recent years. Club officials have famously triggered 'levers' - selling shares in the club's merchandise and broadcasting - to raise funds to spend on the squad.
German investment firm Libero agreed a deal to buy 10% of Barca Vision for €40m but are yet to receive that payment, and local reports have suggested that Barca are planning legal action to get their money.
Meanwhile, plans to trim costs continue to be drawn up and there are fears a handful of key players may need to be sold this summer.
Defender Jules Kounde and winger Raphinha have both been tipped to leave, with the pair attracting interest from the Premier League.
