Barcelona head into Saturday's clash with Las Palmas in a good patch of form but with only a very feint chance of catching Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table.
Xavi's side have won four of their last five league matches and need to maintain their good form ahead of their Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain.
There are plenty of injuries that could stop them from doing that, however. With important players like Frenkie de Jong, Pedri and Gavi all out, as well as Xavi being suspended from the sideline, Barca will need to produce a professional performance on Saturday night.
Here's the Barca lineup Xavi may choose against Las Palmas.
Barcelona predicted lineup vs Las Palmas (4-3-3)
GK: Marc-Andre ter Stegen - There were serious concerns when Ter Stegen went down in training this week but Xavi later confirmed it was just a scare and not a serious problem for the German goalkeeper.
RB: Jules Kounde - Kounde hasn't impressed at right-back when used there this season but, with Joao Cancelo playing on the left, the Frenchman will likely fill in out wide again. He was also an injury concern but is expected to start.
CB: Ronald Araujo - Another fitness concern, Xavi has confirmed Araujo is available which is a major boost given the other injuries. Recently talked about the transfer links with teams like Manchester United and Chelsea.
CB: Pau Cubarsi - The emergence of Cubarsi at centre-back could spell the end of Inigo Martinez's time at the club, with Barca seeking to reduce the wage bill at any given opportunity.
LB: Joao Cancelo - The Portuguese winger has been one of Barca's best players this season. He recently shared some interesting details about his time at Manchester City, alleging Pep Guardiola has told some lies.
CM: Fermin Lopez - Aston Villa and Everton have both recently been linked with a summer move for Lopez, who may not have a long-term future in the Barca midfield. They certainly need the 20-year-old right now though with many players out injured.
CM: Ilkay Gundogan - The German has created the third most chances in Europe's top five leagues this season with 80, which is a superb achievement. He will be Barca's leader in midfield with players like De Jong, Pedri and Gavi absent.
CM: Sergi Roberto - Another player linked with a move away in the summer, Roberto has been a versatile option for Barca over the years and is expected to start here in the absence of others.
RW: Raphinha - The Brazilian seems to be unhappy with the amount of starts he's getting at Barca and could be on the move in the summer, but he is expected to feature against Las Palmas.
ST: Robert Lewandowski - Fresh from helping Poland qualify for Euro 2024 at Wales' expense, Lewandowski now needs to play himself into some form for the latter stages of the Champions League.
LW: Joao Felix - Joan Laporta wants Felix to stay at the club beyond this season which may surprise some considering it hasn't been the smoothest transition. He certainly seems happier at Barca compared to Atletico Madrid.
