Harry Kane scored his 19th and 20th Bundesliga goals of the season already in Bayern's comfortable 3-0 win over Stuttgart on Sunday.

In scoring a brace, Kane became just the third player in the league's history to hit the 20 goal mark before the Hinrunde - joining Robert Lewandowski and Gerd Muller in achieving the feat.

A header from Kim Min-jae capped off the goalscoring in a good win for Bayern.

How the game unfolded

Inside the opening two minutes, Harry Kane inevitably opened the scoring. The goal would come courtesy of a woeful error from Stuttgart, with the visitors losing the ball in their own defensive third and subsequently allowing Leroy Sane to waltz into the penalty area and square to Kane who, as expected, made no mistake when presented with an open net.

Things didn't get much better for Stuttgart thereafter as, in the 25th minute, Bayern found the back of the net for a second time. A stunning set piece delivery from the left flank from youngster Aleksandar Pavlovic was met by Kim Min-jae at the back post, who headed home with aplomb. A quick VAR check however, ensured that the scoreline remained 1-0 after Kim was adjudged to have scored from an offside position.

Bayern would come close to making it 2-0 soon after seeing that goal be chalked off, with a quick counter attack culminating in Sane forcing Alexander Nubel into a stunning save with a low strike from outside of the box.

The home side were once again denied a second goal of the game on the stroke of half-time by VAR - seeing a Thomas Muller strike chalked off after the veteran was proven to have been offside before latching onto the ball.

At the start of the second half, Bayern finally made it 2-0. Another Pavlovic set piece into the box was met by Kim at the back post again only this time, instead of heading goalward, the towering centre-back headed back across goal to Kane, who coolly nodded home his 20th goal of the season.

Pavlovic and Kim would combined from a set piece to make it 3-0 soon after. The youngster's corner was met by Kim who, after seeing his header deflect off a Stuttgart player, saw the ball nestle in the net.
