Bayern Munich predicted lineup vs Wolfsburg - Bundesliga
By Max Parsons
Bayern Munich conclude their season with a trip to Wolfsburg on Saturday afternoon.
Die Roten enter the final day in poor form, having let things slip since securing a tenth consecutive Bundesliga title with a 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund last month.
A 3-1 defeat to Mainz and a 2-2 draw with Stuttgart since that glorious day puts Die Rekordmeister in serious danger of seeing their season end with a whimper - that was probably the last thing on their minds while lifting the Meisterschale after their last winless outing, however.
A final day visit to Wolfsburg awaits them, against a side that now cannot achieve a top-half finish this term. Here's how the German champions could set up.
1. Bayern Munich predicted lineup vs Wolfsburg (4-2-3-1)
GK: Manuel Neuer - Will inevitably skipper the German giants to end what has been yet another superb individual campaign.
RB: Benjamin Pavard - Josip Stansic is in with a shout to end his encouraging breakthrough season with a start, but Pavard will likely feature from the off here.
CB: Nikals Sule - Probably won't see his relatives take to Instagram if he's not given a farewell start for Bayern, but deserves one nonetheless.
CB: Lucas Hernandez - Likely to field a strong XI to end the campaign on a high, Hernandez could partner the big German at the heart of defence.
LB: Alphonso Davies - Has started the previous four since getting back to full fitness, and it's wonderful to see.
CM: Joshua Kimmich - No chance of this man wanting to take it easy; Kimmich has been consistently sensational as the side's pivot, boasting three goals and 11 assists with one Bundesliga fixture remaining.
CM: Leon Goretzka - The machine-like dynamo should be set for just a 19th league appearance in what has been an injury-hit campaign.
AM: Thomas Muller - Has once again been central to Bayern's season, entering the final day with a decent 20 league assists to his name.
RW: Serge Gnabry - Cemented his name in the 'world's best wingers' conversation this term, and will surely start once more for Die Roten.
ST: Robert Lewandowski - Only the 34 Bundesliga strikes for the goal-hungry Pole - needs one more for 50 across all competitions, though.
LW: Leroy Sane - If he's recovered from the illness that kept him out of his side's last outing, the German will certainly deputise for the suspended Kingsley Coman.
