The concession of three goals would've undoubtedly frustrated Thomas Tuchel on Wednesday night, but Bayern Munich's potency going forward proved too much for Manchester United to handle.

Bayern continued their imperious form in Champions League group stage fixtures by beating the Premier League outfit 4-3 on Wednesday night, and their attention now reverts back to the Bundesliga as they host a stubborn Bochum side on Saturday afternoon.

The Bavarian giants' recent continental outing means it wouldn't be a surprise to see Tuchel make a few changes to Wednesday's team this weekend, with the German also looking to put the disappointment of dropping two points to Bayer Leverkusen firmly in the rear-view mirror.

Here's the XI Tuchel may opt for come kick-off time.

GK: Sven Ulreich - Manuel Neuer remains out of action which means Ulreich continues to start by default.

RB: Noussair Mazraoui - Tuchel has favoured the indefatigable Konrad Laimer at right-back for Bayern's recent outings, but Mazraoui could return to the fold for Bochum's visit.

CB: Matthijs de Ligt - The Dutchman has voiced his displeasure over his lack of minutes at the start of the new season, but he could get a chance to shine on Saturday.

CB: Kim Min-jae - The South Korean is almost wholly responsible for De Ligt's decreased influence, but he could partner the Dutch international this weekend.

LB: Alphonso Davies - The Canadian just about survived without feeling the wrath of Facundo Pellistri on Wednesday night. Davies has performed superbly at the start of 2023/24 and looks to be back to his electic best.

CM: Joshua Kimmich - The stand-in Bayern skipper could be rested if Tuchel wants to keep Laimer in the side, but Kimmich is more likely to continue in the side despite his indifferent form.

CM: Leon Goretzka - The supreme box-crasher loves a goal in games like these, and he'll undoubtedly have a big role to play.

RM: Leroy Sane - Sane's been a consistent performer at the start of 2023/24 and he added to his goal tally on Wednesday courtesy of an Andre Onana howler.

AM: Jamal Musiala - The wily German celebrated his return to the side with a majestic showing against United in the week. His influence is transformative.

LM: Kingsley Coman - Serge Gnabry continued to feast upon English clubs last time out, but he could be rotated out of the side on Saturday with Coman coming in.

ST: Harry Kane - The Englishman said post-match that he operated in a different role in the week, functioning as a dual ten alongside Musiala. There won't be any of that funny business on Saturday against a deep-lying Bochum block.
