Bayern Munich find themselves third in the Bundesliga ahead of Sunday's clash with Freiburg at the Allianz Arena, so there is work to be done for Thomas Tuchel's side.

Freiburg were in Europa League action on Thursday night as they took on Premier League side West Ham, which was two days later than Bayern's Champions League victory over Kobenhavn.

With an international break on the way, neither coach is expected to make a huge amount of changes to their starting XIs despite the continental action in midweek.

Here's the team manager Tuchel could choose to secure an important victory for Bayern against Freiburg in the Bundesliga.

Harry Kane

GK: Sven Ulreich - Deputising for the injured Manuel Neuer, Ulreich is doing a solid job with two clean sheets and six goals conceded in the Bundesliga so far.

RB: Noussair Mazraoui - Mazraoui is the first-choice right-back now he is fully fit which has allowed Konrad Laimer to be used more frequently in midfield.

CB: Dayot Upamecano - He spent a lot of last season getting criticised but with Matthijs de Ligt out injured, Upamecano will get the chance to build some form.

CB: Kim Min-jae - As expected, Kim has carried his Napoli form seamlessly into the Bundesliga with Bayern and, when De Ligt is fit, it's likely Upamecano will come out of the team rather than Kim.

LB: Alphonso Davies - The Canadian seems to be keeping Raphael Guerreiro out of the side with relative ease and that should continue here.

CM: Konrad Laimer - As mentioned, Laimer was having to perform at right-back but he is now trying his best to keep the likes of Thomas Muller and Leon Goretzka out of the team.

CM: Joshua Kimmich - The German is an incredibly consistent player and will once again be directing things from midfield.

RW: Mathys Tel - Having come off the bench to score against Kobenhavn late on, Tel could be given a starting spot on the right wing in place of Leroy Sane.

AM: Jamal Musiala - Were Jude Bellingham not performing quite so well in a similar role at Real Madrid, Musiala might be getting a lot more attention for his creative excellence despite his young age.

LW: Kingsley Coman - The French winger is expected to retain his place, although Sane could play here if Tel gets a place in the starting XI.

ST: Harry Kane - Having netted eight goals in six Bundesliga games, Kane will be looking to score again here to make up some of the ground on current Kicker-Torjagerkanone race leader Serhou Guirassy.
