Bayern Munich remain undefeated in the Bundesliga as they hunt down league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, with a home game against Heidenheim next up for the Bavarians.

The German champions welcome the Bundesliga debutants to the Allianz Arena on Saturday afternoon and a victory would put them ahead of Leverkusen before Xabi Alonso's side take to the field this Sunday.

Thomas Tuchel will be without the injured Matthijs de Ligt, Raphael Guerreiro and Jamal Musiala, the latter being withdrawn during the Champions League encounter with Galatasaray on Wednesday.

Joshua Kimmich will also be serving the final match of his two-game suspension, giving Tuchel a few selection dilemmas ahead of Heidenheim's visit. However, the Bayern boss has the in-form Harry Kane at his disposal, who has now scored ten in his last five games, meaning a victory this weekend should be fairly routine.

Here is how Bayern Munich could line up against Heidenheim.

GK: Manuel Neuer - Sven Ulreich came under hefty criticism during his period in between the sticks, with Bayern grateful to have Neuer back in goal. You know what you're going to get from the 37-year-old, who has already exhibited his qualities since returning to the starting lineup.

RB: Noussair Mazraoui - Bayern's only real option at right-back, although he has occasionally been rotated with midfielder Konrad Laimer. Should have the freedom to play in a more advanced position at the weekend.

CB: Dayot Upamecano - Grabbed a goal against Borussia Dortmund in the 4-0 thrashing last weekend and has been excellent since returning to the starting lineup. With De Ligt injured, the Frenchman is guaranteed to start.

CB: Kim Min-jae - Assured and calm in central defence, Kim has made light work of the transition to the Bundesliga this summer.

LB: Alphonso Davies - The Canadian will be allowed to make plenty of forward runs on Saturday, bursting down the Bayern left. How much defending he will have to do remains to be seen, but Davies can always be relied upon.

CM: Leon Goretzka - A strong showing against Galatasaray midweek and last weekend against Dortmund. The German has had his critics this season but is starting to deliver some consistent performances.

CM: Konrad Laimer - Will replace the suspended Kimmich after a rest midweek and will be aiming to produce a similarly commanding performance to the one he managed in Der Klassiker.

RM: Kingsley Coman - Could be rotated with Serge Gnabry but Coman has been in impressive form this season. The French winger already has six goal contributions in nine league matches so far.

AM: Thomas Muller - The veteran will replace the injured Musiala against Heidenheim. Despite being 34, the Bayern icon still has a lot to offer in the Bundesliga.

LM: Leroy Sane - While Kane has clearly been the standout performer for Bayern this term, Sane has also been in terrific form. The German terrorised Dortmund's defence last weekend with his direct, mazy runs.

ST: Harry Kane - His goals have been inevitable this season, producing week after week without fail. With 15 goals and five assists in ten Bundesliga games to date, Heidenheim's backline will not be relishing an afternoon up against Kane.
