Bayern Munich haven't tasted Champions League glory since 2020, but they have made a strong start to this season's European campaign.

The Bundesliga champions have fallen short at the quarter-finals in the last three seasons, but Thomas Tuchel - who won the competition with Chelsea the year after Bayern's last triumph - is aiming to add a seventh European Cup to their trophy cabinet.

The Bavarians beat Manchester United 4-3 in their European opener, putting them top of Group A ahead of their visit to Kobenhavn on Tuesday evening. They are overwhelming favourites for their trip to Denmark, but Tuchel will still need his strongest players on the pitch to avoid a potential upset.

Here is how Bayern could line up against Kobenhavn in their second Champions League game.

Bayern Munich predicted lineup vs Kobenhavn (4-2-3-1)

Jamal Musiala

GK: Sven Ulreich - Endured a rough 90 minutes against RB Leipzig with some costly errors in the first half. However, a lack of experienced first-team options means he is likely to retain his place in the starting lineup.

RB: Noussair Mazraoui - Konrad Laimer came in at right-back against Leipzig, putting in an unspectacular performance in a less familiar role. Mazraoui should return to the lineup to offer greater attacking threat down the flank.

CB: Dayot Upamecano - The injury to Matthijs de Ligt means Upamecano is guaranteed a start for Bayern against Kobenhavn having been in strong form since the start of the season.

CB: Kim Min-jae - Not his best showing against a tricky Leipzig attacking unit, but has generally been rock solid since his arrival from Napoli.

LB: Alphonso Davies - The roadrunner should get plenty of opportunities to race up and down the left flank. Already has three assists in nine games this season and could add to that tally on Tuesday.

CM: Joshua Kimmich - Such a consistent and calming presence in the Bayern midfield - a guaranteed starter when fit.

CM: Leon Goretzka - Has come under some scrutiny in recent weeks and hasn't managed to silence his critics yet. Should be able to control proceedings with Kimmich against Kobenhavn.

RM: Leroy Sane - Bayern's strongest performer in the opening weeks of this season, tormenting defenders with his pace. Loves to cut inside on that wand of a left foot, adding his sixth goal of the campaign against Leipzig.

AM: Jamal Musiala - Electric in Bayern's first game against Man Utd and is finding his best form again since returning from injury. Offered another promising display at the weekend and should get some joy in Denmark.

LM: Kingsley Coman - The fractured forearm of Serge Gnabry means Coman will definitely start against Kobenhavn. Still yet to find the back of the net in eight appearances this campaign.

ST: Harry Kane - The England captain has settled brilliantly in Munich, seemingly improving each week. Kane grabbed his ninth goal in eight games against Leipzig and will be hoping to add a few more to his European tally on Tuesday.
