Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund: TV channel, live stream, team news & prediction
By Max Parsons
Der Klassiker returns this weekend as Bayern Munich host Borussia Dortmund on Saturday evening, looking to mathematically seal the Bundesliga title.
Julian Nagelsmann's men are going for a hat-trick of victories over Marco Rose's side this campaign, having already beaten them 3-1 in the German Super Cup back in August before a thrilling 3-2 league win in December.
Die Roten go into this titanic clash in bumpy form, however; with just seven victories in their previous 13 fixtures across all competitions, Bayern have failed to inspire with their performances over recent weeks and months, although head into the weekend having bounced back from Champions League heartache at the hands of Villarreal to beat Arminia Bielefeld 3-0 last time out.
BVB enter this encounter now needing miracles to actually come near winning this season's Meisterschale. Even so, they had mounted a slight title challenge in recent weeks by taking advantage of Bayern's rocky patch with some good form of their own. With five victories in their last eight Bundesliga outings, they have a strong possibility of taking home the bragging rights from this weekend's Der Klassiker.
Here's 90min's preview of this intriguing meeting.

Bayern Munich team news
The hosts are in pretty good shape coming into this tie, with only a few doubts to contend with.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Bouna Sarr and Omar Richards are all expected to miss out, alongside Corentin Tolisso who, despite nearing a comeback from a muscle injury, will likely have to continue his spell on the treatment table.
Meanwhile, Lucas Hernandez and Kingsley Coman are expected to be fit enough to come back into contention.
Borussia Dortmund team news
The injury list is looking a lot more frightening for Rose, who will have to travel to Munich without quite a few big names.
Gregor Kobel, Thomas Meunier, Mats Hummels, Gio Reyna, Mo Dahoud, Marcel Schmelzer, Mateo Morey and Steffan Tieges are all expected to be certain absentees with varying injury problems, while Donyell Malen and Thorgan Hazard are doubts with knocks alongside Axel Witsel who has the flu.
The returns of Raphael Guerreiro, Felix Passlack and Nico Schulz to fitness are some, but quite little, compensation.
Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund score prediction
With four consecutive Bundesliga wins, Bayern have done well to shut down any chance of a real title race despite some drowsy performances along the way.
Even so, Der Klassiker bragging rights are still up for grabs and, following a 6-1 mauling of Wolfsburg last time out, Borussia Dortmund should come into this weekend feeling fired up against a side in a seemingly despondent mood.
That being said, with an injury list the length of the Ruhr, BVB will be severe underdogs against a full-strength Bayern side. While the machine needs oiling, Nagelsmann should see his men get the job done and seal the title for good against their arch-rivals this weekend.
Prediction: Bayern Munich 3-2 Borussia Dortmund
