Ben Davies has agreed a new deal at Tottenham Hotspur which will see him stay under contract at the club until 2025.

Davies has been on the books at Tottenham for eight years to date, and was part of the Mauricio Pochettino team that made it to the UEFA Champions League final during the 2018/19 campaign - playing nine games in Europe during that run.

The versatile defender has been a favourite of Antonio Conte's since the Italian manager joined the club at the tail end of 2021, making a career high 43 appearances in all competitions for the Lilywhites last season.

The club's official statement on the news read: "We are delighted to announce that Ben Davies has signed a new contract with the Club which will run until 2025.

"The Wales international defender has been a model of consistency since his arrival from Swansea City in the summer of 2014 and shone last season as we finished fourth in the Premier League to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

"Indeed, Ben’s 43 appearances in all competitions last term - his eighth here - was his highest total yet for a season at Spurs, overtaking his 40 in 2018/19. He is now up to 271 appearances in all competitions and, with 58, in our top five all-time European appearance makers."
