The best Champions League games of all time - ranked

28. Manchester United 4-3 Real Madrid (2003)
Chasing a 3-1 aggregate deficit, Ruud van Nistelrooy dragged United into half time on level terms at 1-1 in the quarter final second leg, cancelling out Ronaldo's opener.
The Brazilian bagged twice after the break to kill United's hopes of progressing and earned a standing ovation from Old Trafford for his exceptional work. United kept plugging away and won on the night, though, making for an end-to-end contest.
27. Barcelona 0-4 Dynamo Kiev (1997)
In a complete glitch in the matrix, Barcelona crashed out of the 1997/98 Champions League by finishing last in their group.
Among the weirdness was Louis van Gaal's side getting completely trounced at home by Dynamo Kiev, with a young Andriy Shevchenko bagging a first half hat-trick at the Camp Nou.
