The 10 best dribblers in Football Manager 2023
By Henry Burt, Tom Gott
Football Manager 2023 is here, giving players another chance to develop the ultimate team and lead them to glory.
In this systems-oriented era of football in which we find ourselves, dribblers have gone somewhat out of vogue. In the right setup, however, players with strong Dribbling attributes can be key to unlocking defences and causing chaos in the back line.
Let's check out the 10 best dribblers in Football Manager 2023.
10. Jamal Musiala
Dribbling: 18
Having established himself in the Bayern Munich and Germany setups at the tender age of 19, it's safe to say that Musiala will be one of the players to watch over the next decade.
With a score of 19 for Dribbling already, he could easily be the best in the entire game in a few years' time.
9. Vinicius Junior
Dribbling: 18
2021/22 was a breakout year for Vinicius, who finally started to show why Real Madrid spent so much money to bring him to Spain as a teenager.
The Brazilian has been rewarded for his efforts with an improved set of attributes in FM23, including 18 for Dribbling.
8. Jadon Sancho
Dribbling: 18
It's been a week of ups and downs for Jadon Sancho. Okay, so he might have missed out on England's World Cup squad, but look - 18 Dribbling in FM23!
He's not shown the best of his ability this season thus far, but there's no doubt that Sancho has the skills to beat any defender on his day.
7. Eden Hazard
Dribbling: 18
Another player whose star has fallen in recent years, Premier League fans are no stranger to the dribbling abilities of Eden Hazard.
The Belgian doesn't get much of a look in at Real Madrid these days, but he can still tie a defender in knots with his unreal close control.
6. Kylian Mbappe
Dribbling: 18
Who knew the president of Paris Saint-Germain was a good footballer in his own right?
Mbappe's attributes are as monstrous as ever in FM23, and his dribbling is no exception. He's not cheap, but if you can get him he's about as big a game-changer as you could hope to find.
5. Jeremie Boga
Dribbling: 19
With immense scores for Dribbling, First Touch, Technique and Flair, Boga must be one of the hardest players to dispossess in FM23.
The former Chelsea man joined Atalanta in the summer, so you'll have to be patient if you want to sign him for your own team.
4. Allan Saint-Maximin
Dribbling: 19
Another player whose dribbling prowess is no secret to Premier League fans, it's no major shock to see Saint-Maximin so high up this list.
His susceptibility to injuries makes him a gamble as far as signings go, but on his day he's up there with the best.
3. Ousmane Dembele
Dribbling: 19
A year ago, Ousmane Dembele seemed destined to leave Barcelona after a miserable few years at Camp Nou. Fast forward to today, and the Frenchman has undergone quite the transformation.
Dembele has always been incredible on his good days, and his attributes in FM23 reflect the fact that we're beginning to see his good days more frequently.
2. Neymar
Dribbling: 20
First up in the elite club of 20-rated dribblers is Neymar. The Brazilian is known for busting out quite the array of tricks to get past defenders, and this is reflected in his score.
His physical attributes will drop off as he gets older in the game, but class is permanent.
1. Lionel Messi
Dribbling: 20
You probably could have guessed this one.
Messi is well into his thirties now, but he's still the best dribbler in Football Manager. With him, Neymar and Mbappe in attack, it's no wonder PSG roll over just about every side in Ligue 1.
