By Tom Gott
Some of the best players in history have been left wingers. It's a massive position in world football and that's no different in Football Manager 2024.
It doesn't matter how much money you've got, you can find quality all over the globe if you've got the patience to wait for your scouts. If you're looking for a little help, you've come to the right place.
Here are the best left wingers to sign for any budget on FM24.
Cheap options
Pedro
Lazio
£1.6m, plus some hefty wages, is a good price for Pedro. Technically, you won't find too many players better than him.
Antonio Candreva
Salernitana
At 36 years old, Candreva won't be around for much longer, but he doesn't need to be to repay his £575,000 asking price.
Sebastian Cordova
Tigres
Unlike many of the top players in this bracket, Cordova has age on his side. He's only 26 and so will retain some resale value if you choose to move on from his 14 passing and 13 dribbling. £4.6m will secure his signature.
Fidel Chaves
Elche
Still with 14 stamina at the age of 33, Chaves is good to go. With 17 technique and 15 crossing, you're definitely picking up a real threat for just £2m.
Yacine Brahimi
Al-Gharafa
19 flair and 18 dribbling are Brahimi's standout stats and should make it pretty easy to commit to a £2m spend.

Jose Luis Morales
Villarreal
At this sort of price range, you're going to struggle to find elite quality, but Morales is about as close as you'll find. He's 35, which isn't ideal, but he's actually still good enough for a team in a top league. Buy him for £1.6m now and then you've got 12 months to find your long-term replacement.
Uriel Antuna
Cruz Azul
Another long-term signing at just 25 years old, Antuna still has a little room to grow. He's yours for £3.2m.
Derlis Gonzalez
Olimpia
It'll cost you just £800,000 to sign 29-year-old Gonzalez. He might not be a top-tier signing but, for smaller sides in need of reliable cover, you won't find a whole lot better than that.
Adama Traore
Ferencvaros
Not as speedy as his namesake, this Traore still boasts 14 pace and decent value for his £2.5m price tag.
Marcos Junior
Yokohama F Marinos
Versatility is what sets Marcos Junior apart from the rest. He's comfortable anywhere across the attacking third and is a smart pick-up for £2m.
Reasonable options
Galeno
FC Porto
Galeno will set you back a cool £20m. 18 pace and 16 dribbling stand out on his stats page, as does the fact he can play nearly anywhere on both wings.
Marco Reus
Borussia Dortmund
Reus is one of the best players on the game in this position and is available for a bargain price of £8m. The only downside is the fact he's 34, but if you've got the money to spare, you won't be disappointed.
Emil Forsberg
RB Leipzig
With 15 passing and 15 long shots, you're getting a versatile threat when you sign Forsberg for £11m.
Alvaro Garcia
Vallecano
Garcia is all about speed. 17 pace and 13 dribbling will make him a real problem for most defenders, and his £9.5m price tag is a pretty fair deal.
Stephan El Shaarawy
Roma
El Shaarawy has only just signed a new contract with Roma but usually hits the transfer list later in the first summer. Anywhere around £7.25m is an incredible deal.

Kerem Akturkoglu
Galatasaray
At only 24 years old and with some nice potential, Akturkoglu is a great signing. He's good enough for a top league as it stands anyway and he'll soon be worth more than his existing price tag of £11m.
Vincenzo Grifo
Freiburg
£10m will land you Grifo, whose technical stats are up there with the best - 15s, 16s, 17s and even some 18s.
Isi Palazon
Vallecano
Another shout from Vallecano. Palazon's 16 dribbling is his strongest stat which is a nice return for £9.25m.
Sandro
Las Palmas
Sandro is well-rounded with stats like 15 pace, 14 dribbling and 13 crossing. £10m is a pretty fair price if you're struggling to find other targets.
Bryan Zaragoza
Granada
Zaragoza is a bit of a work-in-progress and is not yet good enough to start for a major side, but he's only 22. Spanish football is starting to realise just how much of a gem he is, and his high potential should make it easy to trigger his £12m release clause.
Expensive options
Rafa
Benfica
Rafa is always a good signing every year, and FM24 is no different. His £27m price tag is outstanding value as you won't find many players who matches up to him statistically for that sort of money.
David Neres
Benfica
Available for £23m, fellow Benfica star Neres is a star on both wings and still has the potential to get a little better. Few players can match his flair and dribbling.
Ricardo Horta
BRG
As far as release clauses go, Horta for £25.5m is great. He can play anywhere in attack, where his 16 dribbling and 15 finish can make a massive impact.
Nicolas Gonzalez
Fiorentina
Gonzalez has grown into a genuine star with Fiorentina and his £30m price tag is excellent value. He's only 25 and his impressive mental stats which ensure he reaches his high potential.
Pepe
Porto
Not that Pepe playing for Porto, a different Pepe playing for Porto. This one is a quick winger who can play nearly anywhere up either side of the pitch. That versatility will cost you £21m, which is a great price.
90min recommends
Raphinha
Barcelona
Barcelona's financial issues mean they'll listen to offers of just £21m for Raphinha which, let's face it, is mental. He's one of the best wingers in the game and you will not find anybody who comes close to matching that value - assuming you've not got a problem with his big wage demands.
Thomas Lemar
A. Madrid
The ever-reliable Lemar has been a regular target in the FMs of yesteryear and nothing has changed now. £24.5m is a great price.
Ademola Lookman
Atalanta
Still only 25, Lookman has developed into a real star in Italy. Atalanta are giving away a few bargains this year, with his £23.5m price tag something worth considering.
Steven Bergwijn
Ajax
You can land Bergwijn for £27.5m, which is actually really good value if you can't secure some of the other targets on this list.
Kylian Mbappe
Paris SG
Ending on a big one, Mbappe can actually be signed for £145m. You almost definitely don't have that money, but if you do, why not go crazy?
