Paris Saint-Germain resume domestic matters on Saturday night as they travel to Bordeaux on matchday 13 of Ligue 1.

The side from the capital head into this game having won just one of their last three. A 2-1 win over current French champions Lille has been sandwiched between a 0-0 draw with Marseille a 2-2 draw with RB Leipzig in the Champions League last time out. It's been a rocky start to the season for Mauricio Pochettino, whose side haven't been performing as they could - and probably should. Having said that, they are grinding out results and currently sit eight points clear at the summit of Ligue 1.

Their hosts on Saturday sit in 16th place, having won just twice in their opening 12 league outings. The second of those came last time out as they overcame Reims 3-2 - although that was their first victory in six games.

Here's 90min's preview of the clash.

Vladimir Petkovic must continue to make do without striker Hwang Ui-jo who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Jean Onana and Otavio, however, will both be available to play as they both return from suspension.

There are places up for grabs in the forward line, although Jimmy Briand and Samuel Kalu will be hopeful of having those nailed down having notched a brace and registered an assist respectively last time out.

Lionel Messi missed PSG's draw with Leipzig due to hamstring and knee discomfort and is expected to miss out again here, while there will be no debut for centre-back Sergio Ramos, whose arrival at training has now been pushed back to next week.

Leandro Paredes, Marco Verratti, Presnel Kimpembe and Rafinha are all sidelined as well, so Pochettino has a few problems to solve with his lineup.

Bordeaux vs PSG head-to-head record

PSG are enjoying lengthy unbeaten streaks against a lot of Ligue 1 sides, one of whom are Bordeaux, who are without a win over the Parisians in their last 13 attempts.

That being said, Bordeaux have caused PSG some problems in recent times. Last season yielded a narrow 1-0 win and a 2-2 draw, while Saturday's hosts haven't lost by more than one goal in any of their last seven meetings with PSG.

For Bordeaux's last win, you have to go back to early 2015, when they secured a 3-2 victory against a side led by Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva.

Bordeaux vs PSG score prediction

On paper, this fixture should be very simple to predict. Looking at the form sheet, Bordeaux have been woeful and PSG have been romping to victory nearly incessantly so far this campaign.

The hosts won't feel confident coming into this clash. Despite having picked up a rare victory last time out, they're languishing very close to the relegation zone and don't seem to have the cutting edge to really push on from the mediocrity they've displayed so far this season. A win against a blockbuster PSG side doesn't seem all that likely.

However, the Parisians have struggled to perform to the standard you'd expect of their star-studded squad. Admittedly, 12 wins and one loss in 16 proves that they are capable of getting results but, sooner or later, they aren't going to be bailed out in the final minutes by the genius of Kylian Mbappe or Neymar, for example.

Having said that, the fixture we've got here is a side eight points clear at the top travelling to a side three points ahead of the drop zone. Pochettino has every single quality imaginable within his ranks and, with that kind of power, there can only be one winner here.

Prediction: Bordeaux 1-3 PSG
