Brighton predicted lineup vs Chelsea - Premier League
By Max Parsons
Brighton will look to continue their good Premier League form on Tuesday night as they host Chelsea at the Amex.
The Seagulls are unbeaten in their last four league outings, overcoming Brentford and Everton while also drawing with Tuesday's opponents Chelsea in that time. Their last fixture yielded a frustrating result however, as they dominated rivals Crystal Palace but were held to a 1-1 draw at home.
Sitting ninth, they host Thomas Tuchel's men, who are enduring a rocky patch of form at the moment. Here's how Potter could line up.
1. Goalkeeper & defenders
Robert Sanchez (GK) - Has only missed a league outing through suspension this term, and will continue between the sticks here.
Tariq Lamptey (RB) - Wasn't fit enough to start against Palace last time out, but Potter is confident he'll be fit to face Chelsea.
Adam Webster (CB) - Was left on the bench as Brighton earned a point at Stamford Bridge last month, but should be afforded a third consecutive Premier League start in this one.
Dan Burn (CB) - The man-mountain has started each of Brighton's previous six league games and, in Lewis Dunk's likely continued absence, should do so once more.
Marc Cucurella (LB) - Has enjoyed a really positive start to his career in England's top flight.
2. Midfielders
Jakub Moder (RM) - Has been busy in recent weeks and will likely retain his place in the starting XI.
Adam Lallana (CM) - Sustained a slight knock at the weekend but should be able to come through and start on Tuesday night.
Pascal Gross (CM) - Was really off the pace on Friday night but, with Yves Bissouma still away at the Africa Cup of Nations, he'll likely keep his spot at the heart of the midfield.
Alexis Mac Allister (LM) - Has put in some fantastic showings of late, and will be searching for a fifth Premier League goal of the campaign on Tuesday.
3. Forwards
Leandro Trossard (ST) - Also looking for a fifth league goal of the season is Trossard, who is a key man in this Brighton side.
Neal Maupay (ST) - Another influential derby-day display should have been enough to earn him another start, although Danny Welbeck, who scored Brighton's first and only goal at Stamford Bridge to snatch a draw last month, is also pushing to feature.
