Brighton travel to Everton on Sunday in the hope of building upon a historic result at Stamford Bridge last time out.

Heading into their previous outing, the Seagulls had never managed to even score a goal away at Chelsea but left west London having earned a 1-1 draw courtesy of Danny Welbeck's stoppage time equaliser. That result followed a good 2-0 victory against Brentford.

Picking up a bit of form, Graham Potter's men now sit tenth in the table and face 15th-placed Everton, who also managed a 1-1 draw at Chelsea in their last fixture before seeing three consecutive matches postponed due to Covid-19.

Here's how Brighton could line up.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Robert Sanchez (GK) - Didn't look too comfortable last time out but he's firmly the club's number one and will continue between the sticks.

Adam Webster (CB) - Was afforded a rest as his side drew with Chelsea, but the Portsmouth youth graduate could return to the starting lineup for this one.

Dan Burn (CB) - The giant of a man dealt with Romelu Lukaku well in midweek, and has another tough test in store with the potentially returning Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Marc Cucurella (CB) - Fared very well on the left of a back three at Stamford Bridge and, given the success the system earned on Wednesday, Potter could stick with it.

2. Wing-backs & midfielders

Tariq Lamptey (RWB) - Probably born to be a right wing-back, Lamptey is the natural choice for this role and should start once more for the trip to Everton.

Yves Bissouma (CM) - Put in another excellent shift last time out and should be in line for a second consecutive start after having missed the win over Brentford.

Adam Lallana (CM) - Has featured in 16 of the Seagulls' 18 league fixtures thus far and, having skippered the side in their last two outings, should be in line for another appearance here.

Solly March (LWB) - A reliable performer for Potter, March looks set for a ninth Premier League start of the season.

3. Forwards

Jakub Moder (RF) - A little underwhelming in the box last time out but his generally consistent form over recent weeks and months should see him start again here.

Danny Welbeck (ST) - Neal Maupay started against Chelsea but, following his last-gasp equaliser, Welbeck may be given the nod.

Alexis Mac Allister (LF) - Has only started four league games this term but his brilliant display at Chelsea last time out has surely earned a fifth.
