Burnley vs Watford head to head record
The majority of meetings between Burnley and Watford in the last 20 years have come at Championship level, but the pair have exclusively faced off in the Premier League since 2016.
Burnley beat Watford home and away in both the 2017/18 and 2019/20 campaign, the latter of which was the Hornets' last in the Premier League before this one.
Watford's last victory over Burnley was actually at Turf Moor in August 2018 when Andre Gray, Troy Deeney and Will Hughes scored the goals in a 3-1 win.
Burnley vs Watford score prediction
Watford have been incredibly hit and miss this season but they do have goals in them. The Hornets have scored 21 so far, with only Crystal Palace outscoring them among all bottom half clubs.
As such, the decisive factor here is likely to come down to whether Burnley's defence or Watford's attack prevails on the night.
Burnley, while struggling for wins, have only lost two of their last 10 Premier League games and have already recorded two clean sheets in three games so far this month. But scoring is an issue for them as they haven't found the net in their last three.
Prediction: Burnley 1-2 Watford
