PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko is a key target for the Premier League's elite heading into the summer transfer window, a report has claimed.
Bakayoko, 20, has eight goals and 13 assists to his name this season, with his impressive form earning him a spot in the Belgium national team setup, and plenty of top sides across Europe are alert to his progress.
Brentford were seriously keen on Bakayoko earlier this season and tried to make the winger their club-record signing, but were ultimately priced out of a move as PSV eyed a more expensive sale.
According to Sky Germany, Brentford tried to land Bakayoko's signature for €40m (£34m) in January, but PSV are holding out for €50m-€60m (£43m-£51m) to part ways with their star winger.
The race for Bakayoko's signature will be far more complicated this summer, when Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City will all look to try and sign the 20-year-old.
In mainland Europe, Bakayoko also has interest from Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain.
Bakayoko revealed last summer that he would not have joined Brentford "even for €100m" as he wanted to see how far he could lead PSV in the Champions League this year.
The Dutch side made it out of the same group as Arsenal and, after Brentford failed with another bid for Bakayoko's services, eventually fell to Dortmund in the last 16.
With the European journey now over, Bakayoko appears set for a move away from PSV and should have no shortage of offers, but the Dutch side are under no immediate pressure to sell as he remains under contract until 2026.
