Chelsea have come to dominate women's football in England in recent years.

With enormous support from the wider club and huge faith in the project started by Emma Hayes way back in 2012, the Blues have built an incredible squad littered with world class players.

Given the kind of budget that Chelsea operate on compared to most, even within the fully professional WSL, they are putting to rest the idea that women's football can only plan for the short-term in a financial sense. Most of the contracts the Blues now give out are for the long-term.

That being said, a few big names are still due to be out of contract sooner rather than later.
