Christophe Galtier sends goodbye message to PSG fans

- The ex-PSG manager wished Luis Enrique good luck at the club
Christophe Galtier has wished Luis Enrique the 'best of luck' at Paris Saint-Germain after being sacked by the club.
The French coach was sacked on Tuesday after exactly one year in charge of PSG and swiftly replaced by former Barcelona and Spain manager Enrique.
Galtier won Ligue 1 with PSG but failed to improve their fortunes on the continental front as the team suffered a rather embarrassing round of 16 exit in the Champions League for a second consecutive season - being knocked out by Bayern Munich.
In an open letter to fans, Galtier thanked Les Parisiens' fans after an 'intense season'.
"At a time when new page turns - and a chapter opens - for PSG, I would like to say 'Thank you' after such an intense season," he said.

"Thank you to 'my' players first of all, they were magnificent in their commitment in going after an historic 11th league title. Thank you to the sporting director and my technical staff for their support. Thank you to the team behind the team (kit management and organisation), so indispensable and devoted.
"Thank you to the invaluable medical department. And above all thank you to the Chairman and CEO, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, for his unflinching support, especially in the most difficult times.
"I sincerely hope PSG experience another intense and emotional season, and best of luck to Luis Enrique."
Speaking after replacing Galtier, Enrique himself said: "I'm delighted to be joining Paris in order to enjoy a new experience. It's so exciting to meet new people, to live in this city, to learn a new language and, above all, to manage PSG."
