Christophe Galtier provides update on Lionel Messi's PSG return
By Sean Walsh
Paris Saint-Germain head coach Christophe Galtier has revealed that Lionel Messi will start this weekend's Ligue 1 match against Ajaccio after returning from suspension.
Messi was punished by PSG for skipping training to attend an event in Saudi Arabia as part of his contract with the country's tourist board.
Les Parisiens had a planned day off cancelled after they were beaten 3-1 at home by Lorient. Messi then issued a public apology after being suspended by the club for two weeks, sitting out their 1-0 win at Troyes on Sunday.
The forward's sentence was cut short after he showed remorse and he will now make his return on Saturday evening at home to Ajaccio.

In a pre-match press conference, Galtier said: "I have spoken to Leo about his return on Tuesday, to see his mindset - very calm.
"During our conversations I thought he was very motivated to play, very determined, and he wants to win another trophy, to be champion of France.
"Having seen his commitment this week in training, yes Messi will start tomorrow [Saturday].
"I didn't comment on it [Messi's suspension]. We were thrilled to welcome back Leo. He trained all week, with desire, determination and he wants to play for the team."
Lionel Messi's future
90min first reported in early April that PSG had accepted Messi will not sign a new contract at Parc des Princes, with his deal up at the end of the season.
While Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal are confident of their chances of signing Messi on a lucrative contract, sources told 90min earlier this week that former club Barcelona are themselves positive of confirming a deal to bring the forward back to Camp Nou.
