Copa Libertadores 2023 group stage draw: Teams, seedings & how to watch
The qualifying phase of the 2023 Copa Libertadores is over. Now it's time for the group stages to begin.
The final four teams have joined South America's best 32 sides to make up this year's competition, with current holders Flamengo to favourites to go back-to-back.
However, before the group stages begin, there must be a draw. The four pots have been finalised, and the draw is soon upon us.

2023 Copa Libertadores format
The 32 teams are drawn into eight groups of four with the top two in each group advancing into the knockout stages.
From that point, the competition proceeds with two-legged knockout ties to the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final (which is now just one leg).

When is the 2023 Copa Libertadores group stage draw?
The draw was initially scheduled for Wednesday 22 March, but will now take place on Monday 27 March.
The draw will take place in Luque, Paraguay and is scheduled to get underway at 20:00 local time (23:00 GMT).
