Twitter reacts to Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe & Erling Haaland transfer madness

Well, that was an eventful early afternoon wasn't it?
In the space of a few hours we had a swathe of transfer news that has the potential to transform the face of European football.
First came confirmation, initially from the media and then from Max Allegri himself, that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Juventus. The legendary forward was edging closer to a move to Manchester City, with Ronaldo willing to take a pay-cut to make sure it happened.
Still, when you're currently earning £600,000-per-week that's hardly impressive...

Why are people asking me “is Messi still your goat” as if Ronaldo joining my club would change that? i’ll obviously push major prop for Ronaldo now that he’s my player but Messi will always be my goat, i appreciate both, and you all should too.

While City fans were dancing from the rooftops following the Ronaldo news, rival Manchester United supporters were trying to come to terms with CR7 wearing sky blue this season.
Some were faring better than others, but they were soon handed a boost when it was reported that United had usurped City in the race for his signature, and Pep Guardiola's side dropped out of the running.
Manchester United have been in direct contact with Jorge Mendes since yesterday night for Cristiano Ronaldo comeback. Now board talking about figures of the deal, potential salary & also fee for Juventus. ??? #MUFC

If Cristiano Ronaldo joins Man City. Messi will automatically win the ? battle.

We can’t support a traitor ?
It's simple. If Ronaldo ends up back at United, it confirms he's always loved the club and always intended to come back. Probably never wanted to leave in the first place. If he goes to City, he is a shameless traitor and the personification of all that is wrong with the game

Soon after that development in the Ronaldo transfer saga we got another piece of massive news.
Apparently, Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing up a sensational swoop for Erling Haaland as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, should he seal a move to Real Madrid.
90min understands that Borussia Dortmund have laughed off notions of their star man leaving with just days to go until the close of the transfer window. However, PSG could test their resolve with a huge bid anyway and the news incited quite the reaction on social media.
