Crystal Palace host Everton on Sunday afternoon, aiming to register a first Premier League win in five attempts.

There has been visible progress since the legendary Frenchman took the reigns but, since consecutive victories against Manchester City and Wolves, his side hasn't managed to come out on top in four. The Eagles recently sloppily drew 3-3 at Burnley before losing to Aston Villa, Leeds and Manchester United in their previous three.

To put an end to their losing run, Vieira's team must face an Everton side boosted by a first win in a whopping nine outings last time out. Here's who Vieira could field to get the job done.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Vicente Guaita (GK) - No clean sheet in four outings, but he hasn't missed a minute of league action this term and will inevitably continue.

Joel Ward (RB) - Missed the defeat at Old Trafford through suspension but should come back into the fold here as a clear Vieira favourite.

James Tomkins (CB) - Has started the last three in Joachim Andersen's injury absence and the Dane is still a doubt here.

Marc Guehi (CB) - The 21-year-old has been largely brilliant this term and is in line for a 16th Premier League appearance of the campaign.

Tyrick Mitchell (LB) - Has also not missed a minute in the league this season and is visibly thriving under Vieira's tenure.

2. Midfielders

Cheikhou Kouyate (CM) - Struggled at United last time out but he'll always give 100% and is capable of bossing the majority of his midfield battles.

Conor Gallagher (CM) - A shining light for Palace, his creativity, thrust and insatiable attitude are key for the side.

Jeff Schlupp (CM) - Injects that drive and dynamism at the heart of the side and will likely continue in midfield while James McArthur remains doubtful.

3. Forwards

Jordan Ayew (RW) - Still hasn't notched a Premier League goal this term but and both Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze are knocking on the door.

Christian Benteke (ST) - Could get the nod over Odsonne Edouard for this one and will aim to build on his four league strikes so far this term.

Wilfried Zaha (LW) - There may be contention for the other spots on Vieira's front line but Zaha's presence is undoubted.
