The clubs don't have to wait too long before renewing their rivalry, with the opening Derby della Madonnina coming only four weeks into the new Serie A season. It will take place on the weekend of 16 September, one matchday earlier than the first meeting between the pair last season.

Inter will act as the hosts for the opener, but both will get a small break in between the match and their previous fixture due to the international break at the beginning of September. That will be better news for Milan who travel to Roma on matchday three.

The second meeting between the pair will arrive in gameweek 33 on the weekend of 20 April. This time Milan will play hosts at the Giuseppe Meazza, with the game potentially having huge ramifications in Serie A heading into the final weeks of the season, albeit depending on both sides' performances up to that point.

Of course, there is always a chance Inter and Milan will face off against each other in the Coppa Italia or Champions League, although the former is more likely.
