Endrick made his La Liga debut for Real Madrid in Sunday's match against Real Valladolid, and the 18-year-old set a new record for the iconic club.

Real Madrid's La Liga title defense got off to a disappointing start last weekend when the reigning Spanish and European champions only managed a 1-1 draw with Mallorca. Los Blancos bounced back in front of a home crowd at the Santiago Bernabeu, though, against Valladolid, picking up their first three points of the 2024/25 La Liga season.

Carlo Ancelotti's squad secured a comfortable 3-0 victory against the newly promoted side thanks to goals from Fede Valverde, Brahim Diaz, and wonderkid, Endrick, who etched his name in Real Madrid's history with his stoppage time finish.

At 18 years and 35 days old, Endrick became the youngest foreign player to score for Real Madrid in La Liga history. The Brazil international was subbed on in the 86th minute, and found the back of the net less than ten minutes later.

Madridistas had been waiting to see the young signing in action after he was an unused sub in the UEFA Super Cup and Real Madrid's opening La Liga match. He had played two pre-season matches prior, but failed to impress in either.

Against Valladolid, though, Endrick linked up with Brahim and delivered a right-footed strike from just inside the box that beat Karl Hein near post in the 96th minute. The goal could be a sign of things to come for the young talent, especially since his accurate finish came from his weak foot.

The former Palmeiras player could be a weapon for Ancelotti off the bench should his front three of Vinicius Jr., Kylian Mbappe, and Rodrygo continue to struggle in the final third. The superstars have contributed to only a single goal in Los Blancos' two league matches against far inferior opponents.

Endrick now joins an illustrious list of players, including Ronaldo Nazario, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Jude Bellingham, to score in their La Liga debut for Los Blancos.
