England vs Spain: TV channel, live stream, team news & prediction
By Ali Rampling
The Euro 2022 quarter-finals get underway on Wednesday evening as England take on Spain at the Amex Stadium.
After a nervy performance against Austria in their opening match, the Lionesses then blew away Norway and Northern Ireland to top Group A and book a place in the knockout stages, scoring a record breaking 14 goals in the process.
They face a Spain side who have averaged 74% possession at the Euros so far, but are yet to quite live up to their billing as pre-tournament favourites after seeing Alexia Putellas and Jenni Hermoso struck down with injury in the build up to the championship.

Marta Cardona came off the bench to net Spain's solitary goal against Denmark - will she be rewarded with a start against England?

England vs Spain score prediction
Wednesday evening's encounter promises to be a fascinating match up - the pre-tournament favourites up against the Euro 2022 hosts and form team.
The game will likely see England without the ball for large periods for the first time this tournament, but the tenacity of Georgia Stanway and the composure of Keira Walsh could ensure the Lionesses disrupt the Spanish flow and make the most of the possession they do have.
Although Spain will dominate the ball, their lack of ruthlessness in the final third could prove telling, and England could capitalise and record a narrow victory.
Prediction: England 1-0 Spain
