England Women's squad announced for April's Euro 2025 qualifiers

Sarina Wiegman has named her England squad for the upcoming Women's Euro 2025 qualifiers, with Leah Williamson, Mary Earps and Jess Carter among those named in the team.

After a successful 2022 in which the Lionesses became the talk of the summer and beat Germany in the Euros final, the England squad will be back in action as they hope to qualify for the next European Championships.

The Lionesses were drawn in a qualifying group alongside France, Sweden and the Republic of Ireland and will kick off their campaign when they host the Swedes on 5 April. They will then travel to Ireland just four days later, where the teams will meet for the first time since 1987.

Arsenal defender Williamson has been named in the squad and will be looking to make her long-awaited return following a withdrawal from the squad due to injury in February.

The squad is mostly unchanged from the group who beat Austria and Italy last month, but Millie Bright will miss out due to injury.
