Erik ten Hag has confirmed Sofyan Amrabat is available for Manchester United again after Morocco's elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Amrabat joined the Red Devils on loan from Fiorentina last summer, having played a key part in his nation's run to the 2022 World Cup semi-finals, but has struggled to make his mark at Old Trafford during a turbulent season for his new side.

After starting seven Premier League games, picking up three yellow cards with no goal contributions, Amrabat departed for AFCON 2023 in the Ivory Coast, playing four games as Morocco were stunned by South Africa 2-0 in the last 16.

Man Utd fielded close to their full-strength side in the dramatic 4-3 victory at Wolves on Thursday, with Kobbie Mainoo partnering Casemiro in central midfield, but Amrabat's return will add greater depth to a squad that has struggled significantly with injuries throughout the season.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's clash with West Ham, Ten Hag revealed the loanee midfielder is available again.

"Sofyan will return on Saturday in the training," Ten Hag said in his pre-match press conference. "Ty [Tyrell Malacia] and Mason Mount, I don't expect them back, but Victor Lindelof, I think he is on his way back. He trained with the team on Wednesday and we have to see how far he is [along].

"Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also on the way back. He could be available but I don't think he will make it for Sunday. But I'm not sure at this moment. There is a problem in his leg."

Man Utd welcomed goalkeeper Andre Onana back into their starting XI for the victory at Wolves. The former Inter stopper played just once for Cameroon before their exit to Nigeria in the last 16.
