Erik ten Hag laments Man Utd's lack of 'passion' in Newcastle defeat
Erik ten Hag has admitted Manchester United showed less 'passion, determination and desire' than Newcastle United during Sunday's clash.
The Red Devils suffered a damaging defeat at the hands of Newcastle on Sunday evening, losing 2-0 thanks to goals from Joe Willock and Callum Wilson at St. James' Park. "Our attacking game was not good enough. I don't want to be focused on one person because it has nothing to do with one person, it was about team performance. We didn't break them.
"I think in the first half we had a chance on the right side with Antony and Diogo [Dalot], but from over the left side came almost nothing. That is the conclusion after this game.
