Erling Haaland's goal record at his former clubs
Erling Haaland is already joining the fifth club of his senior career in the shape of Manchester City.
The Norwegian will be just 22 when he makes his official debut for the Premier League champions, but has already turned out for four other club teams in what has been a whirlwind few years.
Having been born in England - Leeds to be precise - during father Alf-Inge's playing career, Haaland grew up in Bryne once the family moved back home to Norway and began his football journey in the youth ranks of Bryne FK at the age of just five.
He went on to make his first-team debut in Norway's second tier when he was still only 15, before national giants Molde signed him the following year.
Haaland's big break came during his prolific year at Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, which brought him international attention as one of the brightest talents in world football.
Despite an offer to join Manchester United, he opted for Borussia Dortmund in January 2020 when they triggered a €20m release clause and subsequently took his game to new levels.
Having activated a new €60m release clause - still an incredible bargain given the player's talent, age and long-term potential, Manchester City won the race for his coveted signature this summer when they successfully sold their vision to the player.

Erling Haaland's goal record at former clubs
Bryne (2016 - 2017) 0 goals, 16 appearances
Haaland turned 16 during his brief spell in the Bryne first-team. He had previously been prolific for the club's reserve side in Norway's fourth division, scoring 18 times in 14 games, but understandably didn't actually find the net in 16 senior appearances for Bryne in the second tier.
Molde (2017 - 2019) 20 goals, 50 appearances
Even though he had played in Norway's second tier with Bryne's first-team, Haaland initially returned to the fourth when he joined Molde in 2017 and started out with their reserves.
But only four games later he was turning out for Molde's first-team in the Eliteserien, Norway's top flight, under the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. In the remainder of the 2017 season, Haaland netted twice in the league and twice more in the cup, but it was in 2018 that he first translated his previous reserve team potential to first-team level with 16 goals in total.
Red Bull Salzburg (2019 - 2020) 29 goals, 28 appearances
Red Bull's football operation scans the globe for the next generation of superstars and they landed on Haaland during the 2018 Norwegian season, making the switch to Austria official in January 2019. At this time, the player also rejected the chance to move to England with Leeds.
Still only 18 at this point, Haaland was initially afforded time to settle in a new country and only played twice for Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga in his first few months. Yet by the start of 2019/20, he was an important player and plundered 28 goals in all competitions during the first half of that campaign alone - including eight in the Champions League group stage.
There was a scramble for his signature, but Haaland opted for Dortmund over Manchester United, which would have meant a reunion with Solskjaer, for several reasons. Among them was Dortmund's willingness to include a release clause and the likelihood of more regular game time.
Borussia Dortmund (2020 - 2022) 86 goals, 89 appearances
The big test for Haaland once he had moved to Dortmund was replicating his incredible goalscoring feats at a higher and more challenging level in Germany. But he had no problems whatsoever and scored a hat-trick within 23 minutes of coming off the bench for his debut.
That was pretty much how it continued for Haaland in yellow and black. His first half season finished with 16 goals in 18 appearances across all competitions, while he took that to an astounding 41 in 41 in his first full campaign with the club. Injuries and fitness trouble limited the player to only 30 games in all competitions in 2021/22, but he still scored another 29 goals.
